In the same way that the chapters of a book keep the story going, the chapters of SIPA propel the association’s story forward by taking the issues and action to specific locations—and specific groups. It’s there where like-minded peers can congregate and problem-solve.While SIPA can do many things from its home office—plan conferences, put out articles and publications, set up webinars, etc.—it cannot simulate the driving force of members getting together in one room. And because locations present specific challenges and regulations to deal with, chapters can focus on what’s important in that place at that time.
